Hagar International is led and controlled by an effective Board of Directors which collectively ensures delivery of its objectives, sets its strategic direction and upholds its values.


CHAIRMAN
A citizen of Australia, Harvey Collins is the President of Hagar International and a board member of Hagar Social Enterprise Group and Hagar Australia.  He has been involved with Hagar work since 2000. His professional career was in the banking and financial sector and he was CFO for an Australian regional bank. Following his banking career he spent five years as an executive director of a listed investment company. He is currently a professional non-executive Director/Chairman holding board appointments in banking, education and electricity generation. He is also a Western Australian State Councilor of the Australian Institute of Company Directors 

Graham Chipps, an Australian citizen, is the Chairman of Hagar Cambodia. Following 13 years as Pastor of the International Christian Fellowship of Phnom Penh, he now is mostly occupied with a number of boards and committees, supporting and mentoring various people, and PhD research studies with the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies. His skills include preaching, training, teaching, counselling, facilitating and management. Originally a teacher by profession, Graham has studied theology, education and history and was a church minister in Western Australia for 18 years before coming to Cambodia in January 1996.

Dr. Peter Hess, a Swiss citizen, is a lawyer by profession and a partner at in the law offices of Reichlin & Hess in Zug, Switzerland. Dr Hess completed his postgraduate studies in law at Columbia University, New York.As a politician, Dr Hess served in local government and in the Federal Parliament, becoming speaker of Parliament from 2000 to 2001.

Lee Chee Khiang, a citizen of Singapore, is an accomplished executive with record of success in the sales of financial products and management of sales personnel. He is recognised for management and sales. Mr Lee, who currently serves as Director, Hagar Singapore, has worked for Citibank Singapore and Great Eastern Life, where he won several awards for success in sales. He has a Bachelor of Arts from the National University of Singapore.

In 1994, Pierre Tami and his wife Simonetta launched Hagar in Cambodia. A visionary leader creating a compelling response to the plight of poverty, injustice and hopelessness. With a dream to provide hope, life skills, employment and income for vulnerable women, and care and education for children at risk, Pierre Tami is calling for a holistic and empowering approach that puts valued-based social concerns alongside economic issues.
 

Paul Ronalds, an Australian citizen, is currently First Assistant Secretary responsible for the Office of Work and Family in the Department of Prime Minister & Cabinet. Paul worked for World Vision Australia for six years, first as Director of Policy and Programs and more recently as Deputy CEO and Director of Strategy. Paul has also worked as a corporate lawyer with law firm Freehills, he was co-founder of wishlist.com.au, one of Australia's most successful e-commerce companies and chief operating officer of Urban Seed, an innovative and dynamic NGO that provides a range of services to marginalised people in Melbourne's inner city. Paul is a graduate of the St James Ethics Centre's Vincent Fairfax Fellowship in Ethics and Leadership and has degrees in economics and law with honours from Monash University, a graduate diploma in applied finance and a masters in international relations from Deakin University. He is the author of The Change Imperative: Creating a Next Generation NGO, a book that examines the organisational challenges faced by international NGOs in a rapidly evolving global political context.


Adrian Teng is the Chair of the Hagar Social Enterprise Group Board and sits on the Hagar International Board as a non-voting member. Adrian resides in Hong Kong and is the Group Treasurer of Jardine Matheson Limited where he is responsible for Group Treasury, Group Pension, and Group Insurance. Previously, Adrian worked with Alvarez & Marsal, where he was a senior director in the Financial Industry Advisory Services division in London for 2 years. Prior to that, he worked in corporate and investment banking for 12 years in London, Shanghai, Tokyo, New York, and Chicago. Adrian is passionate about giving back to society and his long term aspiration is in social private equity that will allow demonstrative benefits to disadvantaged families and for the betterment of societies. He enjoys the outdoors, particularly trekking, mountain climbing and scuba diving.
