How Finances Are Spent

Children's Programs:

Nearly 300 children received long‐term residential care and support services.  More than 70 children reintegrated back into the community.


Women's Program:

112 women and 89 children found refuge at Hagar's women's shelter, receiving specialized services to aid in their recovery. A further 202 women received reintegration support services and Hagar's reintegration team made 685 follow‐up


Education:

Nearly 900 children and 176 women received education support through Hagar, including literacy and numeracy training, catch‐up education at CLC, supported education in government and private schools and university scholarships.


Community Program:

Over 10,000 filters were constructed in rural communities, benefitting thousands of Cambodians. Over 700 children received nutrition and education support.


Career Pathway's Program:

Over 100 students enrolled in Career Pathways in 2008. 80% of graduates from the program were successful in finding employment.

Capital Works:

With land purchased in 2007, Hagar continued construction on a new shelter, expanding its capacity to provide long‐term care and services to trafficked women.  Hagar also continued renovations on the Women's Shelter.
